Tryout Information

Bay Area Lava is an established D1 AAU basketball program based in the Tri Valley area.

We have a very competitive tryout process. Tryouts are free to attend.

15u High School Tryouts: February

8u to 14u Spring/Summer Tryouts: April

 

Bay Area Lava Tryout Expectations

  • Arrive 10-15 minutes early to warm-up.

  • Follow instructions and retain information from the coach.

  • Perform drills with maximum effort. Challenge and push your comfort zone.

  • Be vocal on the court. Possess leadership qualities by encouraging teammates.

  • Demonstrate you have a high basketball IQ.

  • Embrace the physicality on offense and defense.

  • Aggressively pursue rebounds and loose balls.
